LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 340-330 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.85 g, 5 h). Bearded head of Leukippos to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, grape bunch. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right. HN Italy 1553. Johnston Class A, 4.5. SNG ANS 403. The obverse struck from a slightly worn die and with a graffito of ՒH (for ՒHPAKΛHIΩN?) on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
